Predatory Instincts is a returning item in Risk of Rain 2.

The item has a passive of granting 5% Critical Strike chance upon initial pickup. Obtaining more Predatory Instincts beyond the first will not grant any additional critical chance.

The item increases attack speed by 12% when activating a Critical Strike, up to a maximum cap of 36% (+24% per stack) attack speed.

  • The duration of the buff applied by this item is multiplied by the Proc Coefficient base, which is 3 seconds.

Gossip spreads quickly in terrified communities. Stories that keep the more fearful lizardfolk in their passageways. Hushed tales that frighten the most commanding of stone constructs and woodfolk and creatures of the plains. Fear travels between the trees and the valleys.

A demon, fallen from the Sky, mighty enough to slay Providence and his Wurms. Only two arms, two legs - but with 22 unblinking, crimson eyes.
