|Fire haunting skulls when healed.|
|Store 100% (+100% per stack) of healing as Soul Energy. After your Soul Energy reaches 10% of your maximum health, fire a skull that deals 250% of your Soul Energy as damage.|
N'kuhana's Opinion is an item in Risk of Rain 2. It fires skulls for every 10% of the player's max health healed, dealing damage equal to 25% of the player's max health. The skulls have a proc coefficient of 0.2.
Tips[edit | edit source]
- The skulls trigger even when healing at full health.
- "Healing" implies actively regaining HP from a source, where green numbers appear around the player signifying the healed amount; players' passive HP regeneration, even when amplified by a Cautious SlugRapidly heal outside of danger.
Increases base health regeneration by +3 hp/s (+3 hp/s per stack) while outside of combat., Spinel TonicGain a massive boost to ALL stats. Chance to gain an affliction that reduces ALL stats.
Drink the Tonic, gaining a boost for 20 seconds. Increases damage by +100%. Increases attack speed by +70%. Increases armor by +20. Increases maximum health by +50%. Increases passive health regeneration by +300%. Increases movespeed by +30%.
When the Tonic wears off, you have a 20% chance to gain a Tonic Affliction, reducing all of your stats by -5% (-5% per stack)., or Titanic KnurlBoosts health and regeneration.
Increase maximum health by 40 (+40 per stack) and base health regeneration by +1.6 hp/s (+1.6 hp/s per stack)., will not trigger any skulls to fire.
- This item can be extremely useful on Engineer's TR12 Gauss Auto-Turrets, since with Bustling FungusHeal all nearby allies after standing still for 1 second.
After standing still for 1 second, create a zone that heals for 4.5% (+2.25% per stack) of your health every second to all allies within 3m (+1.5m per stack)., his Turrets can trigger the skulls at a high rate and deal rapid damage at very long range.
- Another survivor that this item excels with is REX. Their entire kit revolves around healing and life-steal, allowing them to activate this item very often.
- Because this item's damage scales with max HP instead of base damage, holding aShaped GlassDouble your damage... BUT halve your health.
Increase base damage by 100% (+100% per stack). Reduce maximum health by 50% (+50% per stack). halves the damage dealt by the skulls due to the HP reduction. However, since fixed-amount healing (such as Harvester's Scythe'Critical Strikes' heal you.
Gain 5% critical chance. Critical strikes heal for 8 (+4 per stack) health.) is unaffected by the max HP reduction, the skulls will also fire twice as fast (since the fixed amount is now a larger percentage of max HP). Percentage-based healing such as Bustling FungusHeal all nearby allies after standing still for 1 second.
After standing still for 1 second, create a zone that heals for 4.5% (+2.25% per stack) of your health every second to all allies within 3m (+1.5m per stack). has reduced effectiveness while holding the Shaped Glass, so N'kuhana's Opinion is strictly worse while holding Shaped Glass if percentage-based healing is the player's primary healing method.
- With a single CorpsebloomDouble your healing... BUT it's applied over time.
Heal +100% (+100% per stack) more. All healing is applied over time. Can heal for a maximum of 10% (-50% per stack) of your health per second., all healing becomes capped at 10% of the player's maximum health per second, making it a heal-over-time effect. This means that large bursts of healing will continue to fire skulls even after the initial healing effect would have otherwise ended. However, this also heavily restricts the fire rate of N'kuhana's Opinion, so players who can reliably and continuously heal themselves will most likely benefit more without the Corpsebloom.
Lore[edit | edit source]
"Let us begin. What is your oath? Not very long ago, health and time were in perfect synergy. Pain and love. Death and memories. The great equalizer. She would always come for us. But! Disparity now plagues our generations - and our children's. Not many pass, but so many are born. So many doomed souls, saved. Our hubris as a race continues to grow - unchecked. Unrestrained. Now there is no volume in our world for death, and she cannot visit us. But is being alive only an offset from death? Without contrast, won't we all be dead in life? The standard has shifted, and now we are all so very close to never living again. We must make volume for her name - to restore the balance. Let us consume the Concepts, so we may begin to drain the bloated cistern that is our world. As disciples, we will spread her words and opinions. As pupils, we will sow death. And should we be lucky... be granted an audience by Her. Weshan!" -The N'tormat, Chapter I, Stanza I, Verse II
