The Mired Urn is a new item in Risk of Rain 2. Whenever enemies are near the player, a tendril of tar will reach out from the player to an enemy, continuously draining health from it and inflicting the Tar debuff, reducing its Movement Speed. The maximum number of tendrils that can be active at once is equal to the number of held Urns.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Prior to the Anniversary update, the Mired Urn targeted any entities near the player (friendly or not), similar to the Clay Dunestrider.png Clay Dunestrider's signature life-draining attack. After the update, the Urn will only drain health from enemies.

Tips[edit | edit source]

  • Melee Survivors who stay close to the action will make the most effective use of the Mired Urn, such as Loader.png Loader, Mercenary.png Mercenary, and Acrid.png Acrid.
    • Engineer.png Engineer also excels with this item, allowing his turrets to constantly drain health from enemies, increasing both their damage and survivability.
  • Pair the Mired Urn with the Focus Crystal.pngFocus CrystalBgCommon.pngFocus Crystal.pngDeal bonus damage to nearby enemies.

- Could this be part of a camouflaging defense mechanism?
- Inside the vase is a dark gooey substance
- Goo can articulate into functioning appendages
- Intelligence of subject indeterminable at this point
- When operating the ARMM kit, goo attaches to all but one of them
- Instability in the ARMM power system aborts the procedure
