Lunar Coins are a currency found in Risk of Rain 2 that the player can use to purchase lunar items, unlock the ArtificerArtificerThe Artificer is a high burst damage survivor who excels in fighting large groups and bosses alike.

HP: 110 (+33 per level)
Damage: 12 (+2.4 per level)
Umbra: Herald of the House Beyond survivor, activate Newt Altars, Shrine of Order, and the Lunar Shop Refresher.
Unlike items or the other form of currency, Gold, Lunar Coins will carry over between games.
Obtaining Lunar Coins
- Any enemy can drop a single Lunar Coin at a rate of 0.5%, but each drop of a Lunar Coin per run halves this chance per-run.
