Skills

Primary

Strafe

Strafe
Type Primary
Proc Coefficient 1
Description Agile
[ Agile ]
The skill can be used while sprinting.
. Quickly fire a seeking arrow for 150% damage.
Notes
  • Fire Rate: 0.5s
  • Can only be used while locked onto an enemy. Huntress automatically locks onto enemies in front of her at a medium range.
  • Fires 1 arrow per attack. The arrow homes in on your locked target, ignoring terrain and cover.

Flurry

Flurry
Type Primary
Proc Coefficient 0.7 per arrow
Description Agile
[ Agile ]
The skill can be used while sprinting.
. Draw back a volley of 3 seeking arrows for 3x100% damage. Critical Strikes fire 6 arrows.
Notes
  • Unlocked via the Huntress: Finishing Touch Challenge. (As Huntress, land a killing blow with every possible hit of a single glaive.)
  • Fire Rate: 1.3s
  • Can only be used while locked onto an enemy. Huntress automatically locks onto enemies in front of her at a medium range.
  • Fires 3 arrows per attack. These arrows all home in on your locked target, ignoring terrain and cover.
  • If you would Critically Hit, fires 6 arrows instead for a total of 600% base damage.
    • While Flurry is initially weaker than Strafe, this interaction makes it stronger with high Critical Strike chance. Flurry itself does 22% less damage than Strafe with no bonus crit chance, 2% more at 18% crit chance, and 54% more with full crit chance. For triggering on-hit items that do (don't) scale with total damage, Flurry is 46% (19%) weaker without crit, equal at 86% (24%) crit, and 7% (62%) stronger with full crit.
Secondary

Laser Glaive

Laser Glaive
Type Secondary
Cooldown 7s
Proc Coefficient 0.8 each bounce
Description Throw a seeking glaive that bounces up to 6 times for 250% damage. Damage increases by 10% per bounce.
Notes
  • Can only be used while locked onto an enemy. Huntress automatically locks onto enemies in front of her at a medium range.
  • The 10% damage increase per bounce is applied multiplicatively after the 250% base damage damage * 2.5 * 1.1 ^ bounces
    • This allows Laser Glaive to activate Runald's Band Runald's BandBgUncommonRunald's BandRunald's Band
High damage hits also blasts enemies with runic ice. Recharges over time.

Hits that deal more than 400% damage also blasts enemies with a runic ice blast, slowing them by 80% for 3s (+3s per stack) and dealing 250% (+250% per stack) TOTAL damage. Recharges every 10 seconds.
      and Kjaro's Band Kjaro's BandBgUncommonKjaro's BandKjaro's Band
High damage hits also blasts enemies with a runic flame tornado. Recharges over time.

Hits that deal more than 400% damage also blasts enemies with a runic flame tornado, dealing 300% (+300% per stack) TOTAL damage over time. Recharges every 10 seconds.
on either of the last two hits.
  • Can travel through terrain

Phase Blink

Phase Blink
Type Utility
Cooldown 2s/charge
Description Agile

  • Can struggle to hit airborne enemies as they cannot be directly targeted.

Ballista

Ballista

Description Teleport backwards into the sky. Fire up to 3 energy bolts, dealing 3x900% damage.
Notes

Tips

  • You can only sprint forward and forward/to the side, which might seem to limit the use of Strafe, but you can still attack enemies behind you while sprinting away if you quickly flick your camera behind you while using Strafe.
  • Phase Blink travels in any horizontal direction with an exceptionally short cooldown making it ideal for maintaining as much uptime on Strafe as possible.
  • Phase Blink teleportation distance is based on your speed (faster speed - greater teleportation distance).
  • Laser Glaive stalls your downward movement in the air and can be used to increase horizontal distance when jumping, or to avoid falling damage.
  • Laser Glaive can travel through terrain.
  • Laser Glaive, Blink and Arrow Rain can all be used to avoid falling damage, though Laser Glaive needs a target to be used at all. Be careful as you are vulnerable while hovering.
  • Arrow Rain resets horizontal momentum, so use it first in jumping combos so you can Blink to your target platform.
  • You can use Blink or Arrow Rain during Laser Glaive in order to cancel the otherwise long firing animation for Laser Glaive.
  • Jumping during the animation of Laser Glaive will send you higher.
  • Arrows from Strafe and Flurry can travel through terrain.
  • While Flurry with high crit chance will out DPS Strafe, its much slower attack speed can hinder its effectiveness vs groups. Liberal use of on-kill effects such as Will-o'-the-wisp Will-o'-the-wispBgUncommonWill-o'-the-wispWill-o'-the-wisp
    Detonate enemies on kill.

On killing an enemy, spawn a lava pillar in a 12m (+2.4m per stack) radius for 350% (+280% per stack) base damage.
    is recommended.
    • Since each arrow from Flurry can trigger items, stacking Predatory Instincts Predatory InstinctsBgUncommonPredatory InstinctsPredatory Instincts
'Critical Strikes' increase attack speed. Stacks 3 times.

Gain 5% critical chance. Critical strikes increase attack speed by 12%. Maximum cap of 36% (+24% per stack) attack speed.
can increase your attack speed extremely rapidly, overcoming this weakness.

Strafe vs Flurry

  • Strafe has a higher Proc Co-efficient of 1, versus Flurry's 0.7.
    • This means more items are required to reach 100% trigger chance. For example Tri-Tip Dagger Tri-Tip DaggerBgCommonTri-Tip DaggerTri-Tip Dagger
Gain +10% chance to bleed enemies on hit.

10% (+10% per stack) chance to bleed an enemy for 240% base damage.
adds 15% bleed chance per dagger, with 0.7 Proc Co-efficient they add 10.5% instead. This means you will need 10 daggers to reach 100% rather than the normal 7.
    • Additionally, Strafe gains a greater benefit from Total Damage items than Flurry does, due to its larger Proc Co-efficient. While one AtG Missile Mk. 1 AtG Missile Mk. 1BgUncommonAtG Missile Mk. 1AtG Missile Mk. 1
      Chance to fire a missile.

10% chance to fire a missile that deals 300% (+300% per stack) TOTAL damage.
is a 30% damage per second increase for Strafe, it is only a 21% damage per second increase for Flurry.
    • The duration of many effects, including bleed, is also reduced by the Proc Co-efficient. Bleed normally lasts 3 seconds, with 0.7 Proc Co-efficient it will last 2.1 seconds instead.
  • Flurry with high Critical Strike Chance deals much more damage over time than Strafe, but each individual arrow deals much less damage. This makes it less suitable for builds stacking Crowbar CrowbarBgCommonCrowbarCrowbar
Deal bonus damage to enemies above 90% health.

Deal +75% (+75% per stack) damage to enemies above 90% health.

Lore

She gracefully jumped off the roof of the building, plummeting to the alley below. She rolled into a handspring, vaulting through a broken window into the abandoned warehouse inside. Years of navigating the streets kept her body strong - and her mind sharp.

She held her breath as police ran past, looking for the jewel thief. She may have to maintain this position for a few hours - but she’s used to it.

Amiera was infamous in this city – and for her infamy, she racked up a significant bounty. Was it thirty-thousand credits now? Forty? She let out a small smile. That bounty was nothing compared to the treasure she held in her hands. This jewel could sell for a million credits - no, more. Tens of millions. This was one of the last few prismatic amethysts still left in the world. She clutched the stone closer to her chest.

The police seemed persistent this time. Amiera was fine with that - all she had to do was wait. She slowed down the pace of her breathing - she may be here for a few days.

At least, that’s what she thought - before a flurry of laser arrows pierced her brain, killing her instantly.
