Newt Altars

Newt Altars are interactables that can be found on every standard Environment, usually hidden or in hard-to-reach areas. There are 3 to 5 possible Newt Altar spawn locations per stage.

Donating 1 to the Newt Altar will cause a Blue Orb to appear at the Teleporter, spawning a Blue Portal once the Teleporter is charged. Entering the Blue Portal will take the player to the Bazaar Between TimeBazaar Between Time (Hidden Realm)

This stage serves as the shop in Risk of Rain 2. Players can purchase various Items with Lunar Coins or exchange items for higher-rarity ones in two crucibles..

Newt Altars cannot be activated after the Teleporter Event is completed.

It is possible, though rare, for 2 Newt Altars to spawn on the same Environment; however, only 1 of the 2 Altars can be interacted with and does not result in any additional gameplay changes. Sometimes no Newt Altar is spawned, although it is very rare to occur.
