The Altar of Gold is a rare shrine that will spawn a golden orb for a Gold Portal after offering money to it. This will take you to the Gilded Coast after completing the Teleporter Event. It can spawn on any map and has no restriction on minimum stage count.

In the case of 2 Altars of Gold in 1 stage, after activating the first altar the second will be disabled - it's not possible to activate 2 Altars of Gold in 1 stage.
